The Fayaz-Tepa Buddhist Сomplex
Fayaztepa - a Buddhist religious complex, which in 1963 was discovered by archaeologist LI Albaumom from Tashkent. This architectural monument is located at a distance of one kilometer from the town of Old Termez. Named in honor of the complex RF Fayazov, who was the director of the local museum of local lore, and has made great efforts to explore this historic mesta.Vo the excavation, archaeologists found many different Buddha images, which have been recognized as the most ancient in the world.
