Dzharakuduk ("Stone Forest")
According to the remains, there were dinosaurs, crocodiles, sharks in the seas and livestocks inhabiting it the territory of Uzbekistan. Moreover the study of this object is far from completion.The monument has a complex structure, the age interval of deposits covering more than 9 million years. This is the most unique paleontological monument of world significance.The fossil remains of dinosaurs in this place lie directly on the surface. According to taxonomic diversity, vertebrate remains include representatives of all five classes - fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals. In total, there are more than 70 taxa at the level of families and more than 200 taxa of generic and species levels. The Jarakouduk facility is a typical location for more than 40 taxa.
