"Buyuk Ipak Yuli" metro station
Station of Tashkent subway "Buyuk Ipak Yuli" is the final stop on the line Chilandzarskoy. It was put into operation in August 1980 and originally bore the honorary name of Maxim Gorky. The object was renamed in 1997. In the Russian translation of the current station name means "The Great Silk Road". The station is located in the heart of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district. Mostly it's residential areas, but around the metro station, you can find interesting to explore and visit the facilities. Climbing out of the subway, you get to the intersection of Prospect and Ulugbek street Buyuk Ipak Yoli.
