"Oybek" is a shallow column station with two underground halls that has begun its work on December 8, 1984. It’s named after the Uzbek writer and poet Musa Tashmuhamedov, who used the pseudonym Oybek. "Oybek" is the first metro station in Tashkent with column platforms and reinforced concrete structures. There is also a connecting passage to the station "Ming Orik" of Yunusabad line.
