"Beruni" metro station
The station "Beruni", opened on April 30, 1991, is the terminal station on the Uzbekistan line. It is named after the medieval Persian scientist Al-Biruni, who wrote many works on known at that time sciences. The station is single-vaulted with two platform halls. It's decorated according to national traditions: there are crystal chandeliers on the ceiling and marble domes and the walls are decorated with marble, glass, porcelain, granite and metal.
