"Yunus Rajabiy" metro station
The station "Yunus Rajabiy", named after the well-known Uzbek composer, singer and artist, was opened at the end of 2001. This is the deepest station: it goes deep into almost 25 meters (the height of a nine-storey building). The station impresses with its interior decoration, columns and capitals in the oriental style. It's no wonder that many tourists and locals consider it to be the most beautiful metro station in the city.
