Andijan Regional Museum
All the artifacts collected in the museum collection were found in the territory of the Fergana region or belong to the history of this territory. In the museum of local lore the whole collection is divided into many directions: ethnography, fine arts, applied crafts, archeology and much more. The museum has a huge collection of exhibits, which illustrates the life of the population of the Ferghana region in the ancient medieval periods of the region's history. The museum collection includes more than 66 thousand exhibits. Among them are not only archaeological finds, but also the works of contemporary masters of the Fergana region: artists and artisans who, follow the traditions of their predecessors and revive the ancient crafts of the great masters of the Fergana region. The museum's exposition is constantly being updated. The museum hosts various exhibitions, both in the territory of Fergana and throughout Uzbekistan. Also each year, the Andijon Regional Museum, along with other museums of Uzbekistan, presents its best contemporary works at the exhibition in the fine arts gallery of Uzbekistan. Thus, the exposition of the museum can be seen by everyone. The museum is a large scientific and prospective institution, which has a rich historical heritage in the entire Fergana Valley.
